As you can see I am still quite the beginner, but I have to admit I am really enjoying learning the processes.
For this sketch, I did rough draft one in my actual sketchbook. Here is what it looked like.
Then once I was able to get it to this sketch, I struggled through learning a whole lot of other magic on Illustrator that isn't easy to show, but makes this image a lot easier to place color into. And here are a few attempts of color added to her.
I can honestly say I learned a lot, but I also have a lot to learn in the world of digital artwork. But it was so much fun learning.
I would like to give credit to Tasty Tuts blog & YouTube channel for all my new knowledge. If you are looking to learn how to use Adobe Illustrator as a beginner, I highly recommend them. They have hours and hours of video tutorials that are awesome!
So here is the finished product. Hope you like her.
